SzenaSelekt | A study of university admission systems

 

 

Currently, there is a discussion in Switzerland about the introduction of an admission process for master programs at universities. The project SzenaSelekt aims at analyzing the American system and at exploring possibilities of transferring some of its aspects into Swiss education.

 

As a starting point we are trying to gain a basic understanding of the elementary components and processes of the admission system in the USA. As a result of the project SzenaSelekt scenarios, about future student selection processes for the specific characteristics of the educational systems of both countries. The research will be based on document analyses and interviews with representatives of selected American elite universities.
