SHARE is excited to partner with the Gebert Ruf Foundation and Venture Lab to organize the 7th edition of the Venture Leaders (formerly NETS) program. Like every previous edition, the 20 entrepreneurs selected this year will have a full program in Boston from June 12 to 22nd. They will visit local high tech companies, attend a course at Babson College, interact with experts and most importantly network with local entrepreneurs, investors and other members of the high-tech community. Ernst & Young joins the program as partner this year and will put together an afternoon session as well.

The World Knowledge Dialogue (WKD), which will be held from September 14 to 16 in Crans Montana (Switzerland) is a symposium aiming at establishing a tighter dialogue between natural and human/social sciences. SHARE is assisting the organizers for the US part of the conference. Topics for this first edition: migration and complexity.

Especially high tech SMEs have a great need to look beyond national borders early in order to grow and learn about their competitivity. The US market is of particular importance. A small support system will be developed at Swissnex in San Francisco and at SHARE in Boston.

Joint Colloquium between Harvard (Kennedy School of Government) and the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule in Zurich (ETHZ). Professors at both universities want to launch a joint course with regular videoconferencess, workshops and exchange of students/faculty with the assistance of SHARE. Starting with Duncan Watts, author of book “Small Worlds: The Dynamics of Networks between Order and Random”.

The Greater Boston Area is home for a growing number of Swiss based high-tech companies. In collaboration with the Swiss American Chamber of Commerce, the Consulate, SHARE, organizes on a quarterly basis exclusive luncheons for business executives with key notes by distinguished Swiss managers, decision makers and opinion leaders.
